Yuhhuuu! i got my 35-350mm at last, its used but in a new condition. The previous owner had it for a year, but he didn't really used it. The cosmetics of the lens is really 10/10. for the price itself is unbelievable "cheap"! It was really a good deal. I checked out everywhere, but i could not find 1 like this. Mostly the lens that is up for sell is physically "abused".

First impression of the lens, it was huge and beautiful. i took it for hunting the other day, the performance of this lens is not that bad. The build quality is just very different from other lens, you feel its not something normal. The color of produced from the lens is amazing. First i thought, even though this an L the quality could not be that good, as the zoom range is so wide, with around 10x zoom. I guess the body will play a role too! Tried to take a picture with 350D and 30D, and yes it gives a lot of difference, the picture quality produced by the 30D is way better than the 350D. I think this lens would be better if it is connected on a FF body. *yea maybe someday, or maybe somebody will be kind enough to buy me 1 FF body :P*

On the other side, the problem with this lens, when it was zoomed above 200mm, u need to get yourself at least a monopod or maybe a tripod, otherwise u will just get a blurry image. I dont know, whether the later version of this lens the 28-300mm with IS contribute something to the image quality. After sometimes walking around with this lens, your hand with start aching, coz it was quite heavy, compared to other L lens. So i think it would be better if you had a monopod, if you are using this lens. After all i am happy with this lens.

I have decided to let go 1 of my lens. That is the 28-135mm IS. Actually its kind of sad letting this lens away. Knowing that i have not used it long enough, i had it about a few months, and bought it new. Hopefully i could sell it with a good price. First i wanted to sell of my Tokina 28-70mm F/2.8, but after i thought about it, i think i better keep this lens coz of the F/2.8, for indoor photo taking. Although the auto focus on this lens is quite slow, compared to the auto-focus on canon lens. Maybe i'll just keep it until i had enough $$ to trade with a canon 24-70mm f/2.8L. :D
